Here at Bowness-on-Windermere, the Lonsdale Galleries is situated on the hillside around 400 yards from Lake Windermere opposite the World of Beatrix Potter attraction. We are open 7 days a week, throughout the year, until 9pm in the busy school holidays and until 5.30pm the rest of the year.
Lonsdale Galleries specialises in high quality gifts, home furnishings and tourist mementos. It really is an aladdins cave of quality gifts including childrens raincoats, an extensive range of fashion handbags and great brands such as Yankee Candle, Pilgrim Jewellery and the willowtree collection. Everything you desire can be acquired under this one roof, thus allowing you to spend the remainder of the day sightseeing or visiting our sister establishment, The Corner Shop in neighbouring Windermere village!
Soft toys, pottery, pictures, furniture, mirrors,toys, photoframes,preserves and food gifts. The list just goes on. We have a kitchen department containing the beautiful Charlotte Watson range of storage jars, lots of useful and unusual kitchen gadgets, Dunoon mugs, stylish and traditional kitchen coordinates and much more. We try our best to appeal to all generations and tastes by keeping a broad and varied level of stock. One of our strongest features is our lighting. We have a great selection of table lamps and hanging pendants incorporating both contemporary and traditional styles and at affordable prices. They can be found in the upstairs of the shop along with a great selection of art deco style mirrors. We are constantly updating our stock so by the time you visit us who knows what new and wonderful things we will have.
In addition, as with our sister establishment, The Corner Shop in Windermere, we offer some great brands including fragranced candles from Yankee Candle, Willowtree figurines, Pilgrim jewellery, Dunoon mugs and Typhoon kitchenware.

On Crag Brow, Lake Road in the centre of Bowness-on-Windermere. A short walk up the hill from the lake we are located opposite the Beatrix Potter attraction.
