In the heart of Windermere village, occupying a very prominent corner site is where you will find The Corner Shop. From the outside, with all our baskets of toys, we may just look like any other tourist shop, but come inside and it's a very different story. Our enormous and varied stock includes trendy kitchenware, furniture, affordable fashion handbags, basketware and unusual gifts you won't find anywhere else.
As with our sister establishment, the Lonsdale Galleries in the centre of neighbouring Bowness-on-Windermere, we specialise in high quality items of unique attraction to both tourists and the residents fortunate enough to live in Windermere. Everything you desire can be purchased under this one roof - soft toys, pottery, photoframes, mirrors, games, travel bags, preserves, jewellery - the list goes on and on.
We try to offer something for everyone and with a continuing list that includes glassware, pottery, pictures and an extensive range of lighting including modern and traditional styles of lamps and pendants.
Just like the Lonsdale Galleries in Bowness, we offer some great brand names including: Yankee Candle, Willowtree figurines, Pilgrim jewellery, Typhoon kitchenware and Dunoon mugs.

Opening hours:- Open 7 days a week from 9am throughout the year. Until 8pm during the summer season, otherwise until 5.30pm
