Our love of this incredibly diverse and beautiful part of the country, coupled with a keen awareness of what others enjoy is what makes sourcing goods for our two shops such a delight. We like to think there is something for everyone here.

In both Lonsdale Galleries and Corner Shop our enormous and varied stock includes gift items, souvenirs and curiosities you probably won’t have seen anywhere else. We ensure our stock is from some of the most creative and well loved suppliers which adds a unique flavour to the shops.

One of our best selling and most attractive products is the unique Yankee Candle: a range of candles, tarts and oils with fragrances such as Clean Cotton and Jasmine Tea. They make a great gift for any occasion or just as a treat for yourself.

We are a family run business who have been supplying quality gifts and tourist momentos to the public for nearly 20 years. The shops are well known to many visitors of the lake district due to the character and unusual layout of the buildings. Many parents visiting now remember their own parents bringing them to the shops as children so it can prove to be quite a nostalgic shopping trip for many!

Due to the large size of the shops we are children and pushchair friendly. We have a relaxed atmosphere where we let you get on with your shopping or browsing and if you do require any help we have friendly and attentive staff here to assist you.
